Delivering precision surveying for the second Ashburton Bridge, strengthening connectivity and resilience for Mid Canterbury.

Quadrant was engaged to establish the primary survey control network so the Second Ashburton Bridge ahead of physical construction commencing. Our team designed and installed a robust, high-accuracy control network to provide a reliable spatial framework for all subsequent works. By investing time upfront to rigorously test, verify, and future-proof the control, we ensured the bridge contractors can begin construction with absolute confidence in position, level, and alignment.

The network was developed to integrate seamlessly with design models and construction methodologies, reducing the risk of rework, delays, and costly adjustments once construction is underway. This proactive approach will streamline early-stage site mobilisation, and support efficient programme delivery. By establishing a precise and dependable control foundation, Quadrant is helping set the project up for success - enabling accurate construction, protecting timeframes, and underpinning the long-term integrity of this critical piece of Mid Canterbury infrastructure.
